Mattia Tiezzi has been writing for nss sports since 2026. He has been analyzing basketball since the endless days of lockdown, and has suffered through the sporting failures of his idols for as long as he can remember. His classical studies and the resulting philological approach to debate have led him to write about and describe the world of sport with curiosity, paying particular attention to cause-and-effect relationships and the social phenomenology of events.
